Absolutely fine sea views made mornings magical.
I encountered some frustrating issues. The hot water in the sink was annoyingly slow and often lukewarm. I found the breakfast timing a bit restrictive at 8:30 am, which sometimes felt rushed. I also noticed a lack of WiFi information in the room, which I had to retrieve from the hallway each time.

We had a nice time in this lovely family run hotel in Paignton. The queen room for travel cot, facilities worked for us. Having an electric kettle, central heating and an iron with ironing board was very convenient. Thanks to the affable and helpful staff everything was good. This location was fantastic, right by the beach and Paignton town centre, bus stop, and all the shops.

a cozy stay with sea views
The breakfast was freshly prepared, and we appreciated the owners' genuine warmth.
The noise from the road and the nearby funfair made sleeping a bit challenging at times. Plus, it would have been nice to have some shower gels in the bathroom.

I had a lovely stay at Sefton Lodge! The room was clean and comfy. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. The balcony with sea view made it even better, though the street noise at night was a bit much. Definitely a great spot for a getaway!

The location offers a peaceful retreat yet is conveniently situated just a short walk across the road to the beach and pier. Our room, with a picturesque sea view balcony, was a perfect spot for morning coffee. The hosts were cute.
Although the stay was enjoyable, the breakfast options could be more diverse.

This was just a prime choice for a brief stop-in in Paignton with excellent value. The room was very clean, and the owners were super friendly, making everything feel really cute. Consider bringing snacks, as there's no fridge available for drinks or food.

I loved the fine sea views from the balcony. The room was clean, and the shower was a solid Triton model that worked flawlessly.
There were issues with the hot water at the sink, annoyingly slow and often lukewarm. There were also noise disturbances from traffic, especially at night, which could disrupt your sleep if you're not used to it. I found the breakfast timing of 8:30 to 8:45 a bit restrictive-sometimes you just want to linger a little longer in the morning. Plus, there's a lack of Wi-Fi information in the room. It was located in the hallway, which isn't super convenient when you come back and want to connect. It's a decent spot but could use some minor tweaks.

It was just a decent option for a quick weekend visit in Paignton with fantastic value. The room was basic but fairly clean, a plus for our stay. Keep in mind that there's no WiFi on the top floor and it might be worth mentioning if you need connectivity.

Perfect spot for seaside vibes
The room we had was comfy and really clean. Loved sipping coffee on the balcony with that awesome sea view! The owner was super nice and offered us some tasty breakfast alternatives. Just a bummer that the fair across the road was a bit loud at night. Apart from that, it was a chill stay!

The double room offered splendid sea views that enhanced our mornings. We faced some challenges, including neglected replenishment of drinks and towels. Finding WiFi information only in the hallway was inconvenient for us, especially during our three-night stay. Despite these issues, the freshly cooked breakfast was indeed a highlight, setting a positive tone for the day.
